Strasbourg is situated on France's eastern border with Germany. For this reason, it has a mix of German and French culture and architecture. With about 280,000 inhabitants, it has this small town atmosphere with medieval streets and Gothic churches. It is also the former seat of the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT.
