MANAROLA
Manarola has the MOST BEAUTIFUL AND DRAMATIC CINQUE TERRE LANDSCAPE. You will even find a place built to enjoy the view, grab a coffee and take photos. On its top, there is a café that makes the experience complete.
I wouldn't stay there because the town is really small, with ca. 350 inhabitants, but it is definitely the must-see view in Cinque Terre.
*CINQUE TERRE consists of FIVE SMALL FISHING VILLAGES in the REGION OF LIGURIA, northwest of the Italian Riviera coastline. The villages are Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.
Protected by UNESCO, it has unique scenic landscapes along the Mediterranean Sea with
colorful old-century houses, fishing boats and bays, great seafood, and vineyards. It is also well known for its pesto.
Due to its small structure, it is probably not a nice place to visit during the high season. Actually, I always avoid Italian beaches in July and August due to the crowds.
Cinque Terre is fortunately CAR FREE, and it's easy to get to the other villages by train or boat.*
