POSITANO
Positano is the most popular town on the Amalfi Coast, and you understand the hype when you are there. The landscape of Positano is beyond words. The city is super charming with its narrow streets, flowers, and colorful houses.
Pretty places and corners are everywhere, plus you have the Mediterranean Sea and amazing food. It can’t go wrong.
It is good to consider what kind of vibes you want to have during your vacation before choosing the best place to stay. If you are looking for parties and nightlife, it is a great choice. If you are looking for some peaceful and calm days on the Amalfi Coast, it is better to plan your stay in another town and visit Positano during the day by ferry. That's what I did. Positano is stunning, but its hype also attracts too many visitors, so the city is agitated and crowded.

The best way to get around within the Amalfi Coast is to take the ferry; it's super practical, the ticket price is cheap, and it has frequent schedules. Another tip is to avoid visiting it in July or August, since in July it is too hot and in August the Italians are on vacation, so it will get more crowded.*
