Provence is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The best time to see the fields is between JUNE and JULY. PLATEAU DE VALENSOLE is the most famous area for its dream landscape. To visit the lavender fields and these small villages, it is necessary to have a car.
GORGES DU VERDON
Also located in Provence, the Gorges du Verdon form the BIGGEST CANYON IN EUROPE. It is 25 km long and 700 meters deep. Canoeing and swimming in its emerald green waters are beautiful memories I have.
I drove from Nice early in the morning to enjoy the day without rushing. In one day, it was possible to visit the Lavender Fields and Gorges du Verdon leisurely.
